An Ardennes Roadtrip: 3 - 4 June 2023
The weekend of 3 - 4 June 2023, is set to be the stage of Retroschaft's 3rd Touring Trophy. Once again this invite-only event aims to take a likeminded group of automotive enthusiasts for a unique & beautiful roadtrip. In 2023, the Touring Trophy returns to the Belgian Ardennes with a carefully designed and custom roadbook, exploring many of Belgium's most beautiful castles and, of course, roads.

START: SPA RACING
On Saturday 3 June the group assembles at the garage of Spa Racing. There is always a reason to visit one of Belgium's last true racing shops and it is one of our favourite automotive places in the entire country. For the start of this 3rd Touring Trophy, we couldn't resist returning to this wonderful establishment for the start of our trip and a group breakfast. Being right in the middle of the Belgian High Fens is just an added benefit!
LUNCH: Val de Poix
Our lunch on Saturday takes place in the beautiful restaurant Val de Poix. We will enjoy a buffet for our main course and dessert. This leaves you free to choose what and how much you eat. The restaurant also has great parking opportunity, so you don't have to worry about your car during the lunch. Afterwards, we make for the South in our second and last stage of the Saturday programme and head for the town of Sedan.
ARRIVAL: CHÂTEAU FORT DE SEDAN
The first day of the roadtrip ends in a truly "Castle Run" fashion. On Saturday we arrive at the Château fort de Sedan. Better still, this castle has a hotel inside of it which offers the perfect setting for our overnight stay & dinner. Ending your first day and starting your second day at this fantastic location will make your trip 100% worthy of being called a Castle Run!

LUNCH: AUBERGE DU PRÉVOST
Sunday's lunch will take place at the unique "Auberge du Prévost". This truly authentic, typically Ardennes restaurant boasts a large parking area where our cars can rest peacefully while we all enjoy a gastronomical lunch. With your lunch, you can enjoy an array of fine wines, or Belgium's most prestigious (and rare) beers like Lupulus, Rochefort and many others alike.
FINISH LINE: SPA AIRFIELD
The roadtrip will meet its final destination at the Brasserie of Spa's airfield. You are free to get a drink or even stay for dinner at the restaurant located on the airfield with a beautiful view of the runway. Please note that Retroschaft will not make reservations for dinner at Le Sunset. We recommend you to contact Le Sunset on your own behalf if you wish to have dinner at the brasserie on Sunday evening.

Practical
Start: Your weekend starts at Spa Racing (Rue Saint-Laurent 1, 4970 Stavelot) on 3 June 2023 around 9.00am where everyone can enjoy a group breakfast. At 10.00am, everyone takes a seat in their car to get ready for the first leg of the journey. At 10.15am, stage 1 of the Touring Trophy gets underway!
